Event Details

Regardless of your background, entrepreneurs and artists are visionaries, each in our own way.  We all want to make a difference, create and be innovative. Isn't it cool to try and prove that creating the "impossible" isn't that hard to do?

But in these turbulent times we can't do it alone!

We're back Thur, August 19th and then off until October.  (It might even be cold weather by then!)

So COME to the next week's Create.Innovate.Repeat. networking night on Thursday August 19th from 7-9 pm at the ING DIRECT Cafe Chicago @ 21 East Chestnut in Chicago.

Connect yourself with other local artists and entrepreneurs who might be of service in helping you realize your next big idea.  And did we mention free food and drink?

Throughout the night, we'll be encouraging a small group of local artists and business owners to get up and share their creativity in a format inspired by the popular PechaKucha networking nights.  You'll have ten slides and five minutes (there WILL be a gong this time, so be warned) to share your art, your business, or just a cool idea for the community that you think is worth putting out into the world.  It's a great way to find out what's going on in the local world around you and how you might get involved as quickly as possible!

Grab up to 4 RSVP's for you and your friends! The more the merrier!

Create.Innovate.Repeat. is presented by the Institute for Arts Entrepreneurship, a school designed to help you turn your creativity into a living.  Find out more about the IAE at www.TheIAE.com.

The Institute For Arts Entrepreneurship™

The Institute for Arts Entrepreneurship(TM) is a two-year program with a curriculum that combines experiential learning, mentorship and a personalized classroom environment that provides one-on-one time with the faculty of successful artist-entrepreneurs.

Founded by 230-year artist and serial arts entrepreneur Lisa Canning, The Institute is based on her enthusiasm for the new wave of whole-brain thinking and her firm belief that the arts -and artists–can and must be allowed to contribute to the world’s financial recovery.

The IAE also offers a variety of summer workshops, intensives and other networking and performance opportunities.  For more information on all of our programming, check out www.TheIAE.com.
